The Compensation Administration Seminar is designed for mid-level managers and HR professionals. The course provides insight into the process of studying, evaluating and classifying jobs and teaches participants the various classification systems and methods used for that purpose. Managers will also be exposed to the concept of compensation strategy and will learn how to create a compensation plan. Participants will learn by doing such tasks as creating a pay structure, computing a compa-ratio or preparing a proper job description (highlighting essential job functions and position specifications). The course is interactive and incorporates relevant physical activities and exercises. Participants will have an opportunity to evaluate the seminar and will receive documentation of the level of learning achieved by taking the course and a seminar certificate upon completion.
